Only 3 stars because its impossible to change language, I have a French language which I dont understand

For a long time I hadnt anything such unfriendly in use. I bought Sony cmt-x7 to use in my bedroom. And telling the truth if Ive had opportunity Id give it back. Sound quality is acceptable for such tiny piece, but you can forget about ergonomics. Connectivity with app is erratic. Apple play also. To connect app to cmt-x7 after day or to a have to pull cord from device to restart it. In two words: big disappointment.

After update application is not running on my iPhone 6

iPhone 6 + Sony SRS-X55. It is not possible to connect the app with this device even I can play music via different apps.

I bought SRS-X9 (about 1000$) as sound system is perfect, but software SongPal is terrible: 1. Where is normal support iPad?? Where ? 2. Support DLNA is not stable Sony, how are you?

Trying to use this to control zone 2 on my STRDN1060 receiver is futile. Whenever I open this app the second time to adjust the volume of zone 2 it turns zone 1 back ON. Good thing I have a Harmony Hub or else the receiver would have been returned. The interface is clunky especially to control the 3 zones. Had a much nicer app for the Pioneer receiver.

...for this utter POS of an app. Lemme take a moment to explain the dilemma. My new Sony car receiver decides to randomly start flashing bright colors while I drive with text to download this app. So I do that, thinking it will shut up, which it does. But the app is utterly useless, the phone basically has no interface when in use, instead it tries to make my stereo the interface to my phone, which is just plain stupid. I mean the smartest people in the world made my phone, lemme use it! So naturally I figure, Ill just leave the app off, right?? Wrong, now the receiver only displays one thing, OPEN APP. Great...crack job you guys did with this one. Guess Ill just go back to the receiver having panic attacks because I dont have this app, and sue Sony should I get in an accident during one of it wiggouts.

Using my Sony SRS-X7 this app will allow me to select a music source like Pandora, TuneIn, etc., and choose a channel . But to go back to the app to change channel, you get the endless spinning wheel, or finally youre connected to the Home screen to choose your music source again. Clunky, slow, a pain to use. Best to choose a channel and never try to change your mind. Its a sad reflection on Sony. Elsewhere is my home I use SONOS internet connected speakers which has a slick, reliable, pleasure to use IPhone app to select your sources and channels.

I downloaded the app to work my new Sony car stereo. Its just an added layer of handling to get to the music, pocasts or podstations. If you are accessing any podcasts, then the app wont recognize any of the title information. I am writing a seperate e-mail to Sony Tech Support to remove the App from the firmware. The standard BT software does does the job just fine, and it is some constant extra button pushes to get the radio to behave.

I can power-on my HT-CT780, adjust settings, adjust sound fields, switch inputs, and listen to my music on my iPhone all from my iPhone. Great app!

It was working whit my shake55 and i did a update and now can not connect whit my shake using iphone 6 it said is not supported piece of s#%^*%

I think your version is not compatible with the iPhone 6. Because every time I try to open the app it close it like 3 seconds. All I get is a black screen even if it does open.

Just doesnt work. Why wont they fix this app?????? Was working fine. Thanks for nothing Sony.

Most unreliable app Ive ever used. Wont even open because it instantly crashes.

Just updated to 3.5 when it was released now app crashes when opening totally inoperative....... Please fix was a great app tried everything to get working removed and re installed......

Im using an iPhone 6+ which is up-to-date on the software. downloaded this app tonight and it keeps crashing. Seems to work fine on the initial start. Then it stops working and I cant get it to come back up. It gives the flash and then disappears. I have deleted the app twice off my phone and reloaded it. Still keeps failing

The app is okay when it works. For the past month I have had to delete it and download again every time I want to use it. After that, I open it and it closes itself before it fully opens. This is the only remote I have for my sound system since my Sony receiver wont pair with my Directv remote. Fix the bugs please!!!
