Songpal constantly crashes on IOS. Needs fixed.

This app does not support Sony SRS X-3, 5, 7, 8, 9 or X-33, 55. The description of this app should say that so as not to waste peoples time.

My gosh Sony! Can you at least make this app have another function aside from just opening??!! Downloaded this app update and it still doesnt work!!!! Im willing to bet that your net security at Sony now still runs the same as this app.

I like the app idea but its extremely annoying having to press the refresh button each time i open the app then wait 15 seconds for it to load (or sometimes not load). Make it instant and it will be a great app

Update did nothing for me

One of my favorite apps is working again. I use this app almost daily. I dont like using physical remotes anymore so having this on my phone is very handy. Nice job on the development of it!

the app is really good and well organized but why does it have to ask me every time i open my audio system(MEX-N4150BT) to open the app? what if i dont want to open it? it doesnt show the song name on my car audio system and its really annoying that it shows a notification on my audio system and also my iPhone, telling me to OPEN APP. its really annoying

Worked great before latest update, now the app wont even run for two seconds. Sony should be ashamed of themselves for releasing such a buggy piece of crap!

Liked this a lot...until I hooked up my peripheral phone speaker (not Sony) for outside use. Guess peripherals must be Sony, or youre S.O.L. The music plays, but the song title/rating screen doesnt show up at all now & display is stuck on the "add speaker" screen with code "HT-CT370". I have a 55" Sony TV, sound bar & subwoofer & expected better. Cmon Sony, surely you could do better. Ive invested big $s in your products. Hope youll fix this.

Please just start over. I would not buy a Sony unit again with as poor as this app is. I cant say any others are better but this is not a good app. Sort of works for a few features when it does actually connect with the head unit.

I can connect to the speaker over Bluetooth. That is all the app does. There are no features or remote functions. I cant turn up the volume, I cant adjust any of the settings. Why, Sony? Just...why?! An older version of this app let me do everything the remote could do.

This app failed to exceed low expectations. After I began downloading I spotted the app ratings. The federal government does a better job with its IT. If later I discover my rating was unfair I will upgrade it but for now I will stick with the supplied remotes.

Totally unbelievable. No need for wires or remote controls. All can be done with iPad and Bluetooth, even off and on. (Sorry bad English, me lazy)

I have been using songpal for about a year now. Through the updates it has never been awesome. Spotty connection, sometimes I cant connect. My one unit has shown up as 3 separate devices. The newest release of this app does not jive with my Sony ht-xt1. I cannot use the app as a remote anymore. I cannot just use the app to adjust volume while I am waching tv. To me, that is the only purpose for this app. So, way to go. You had one job. You used to do it mediocre at best, and you just finally decided to say screw it, apparently.

This has to be the worst app on the planet. POS. It keeps crashing and have to connect the Bluetooth each time. Is this for real that Sony made this app. A Middle Schooler could develop a better one. The developers should be ashamed. This has to be developed by Sony interns.

I have an STR-DN1060, which is freaking awesome but has sooo many options it can become confusing to use. I wanted to listen to the radio on my zone 2 speakers (set up outside) while having the game on in the living room. I couldnt for the life of me figure out how to do that until page 100ish of the manual that mentioned this app. Downloaded, connected, and within seconds I had radio playing outside so that when Im grilling I can enjoy some sound or I can listen to the game out there as well. Im sure this has to be possible to choose without SongPal but this app makes it incredibly easy to do and is so intuitive that my kids can even do it without me having to tell them how. So far (knock on wood) the app has connected 100% of the time and has done everything I need it to. Thanks Sony!

Doesnt work most of the time. Very annoying!! I would gladly pay for an App that actually works. Good idea though.

It seems as though the latest update was just one line of published code... open app. Just does not work.
